Actress Judi Dench, who has played Bond’s boss M, and continues the role in the upcoming Skyfall, introduced the blue swimsuit at the auction.

Dench joked, “All I’m going to tell you is they’re unwashed.”

An Aston Martin DBS driven by Craig in Quantum Of Solace sold for nearly $390,000.  A copy of the orchestral score to Skyfall’s theme song, signed by Adele and co-writer Paul Epworth, sold for $22,000.

In all, some 50 pieces of James Bond memorabilia were sold by Christie’s on Friday, which marked the 50th anniversary of the first Bond movie, Dr. No.  Proceeds from the auction benefited several charities.

Skyfall, which also stars Ralph Fiennes and Javier Bardem, opens in theaters nationwide on Nov. 9.
