(DALLAS) — Dallas Mavericks guard Delonte West’s suspension didn’t last long.
West, who was suspended Tuesday morning for conduct detrimental to the team, was reinstated Tuesday afternoon after a meeting with Mavericks’ president of basketball operations Donnie Nelson and head coach Rick Carlisle.
Sources told ESPNDallas.com that West had been suspended for an outburst he made in the locker room after the Mavs’ 123-104 preseason victory over the Houston Rockets Monday.
West, who has been diagnosed with bi-polar disorder, has averaged 9.7 points and 3.6 assists a game during his eight-year NBA career.
