(NEW YORK) — Millions of people have already proven money is no object when it comes to picking up the latest iPhone, but a British designer might have given the most hardened Mac addict pause: a $35,000-plus version of the cellphone.
Stuart Hughes has blinged out the iPhone 5 with a case made of 128 grams of solid 18ct gold and the Apple logo re-done with 53 “flawless” diamonds making up 1 carat of precious stones in total. A 24 carat gold version is also available.
The phone, which is the top-of-the-line 64 gig version, has been limited to 100, according to Stuart Hughes’ website.
