Family Thanks Rescuers Following Plane Crash
Published at | Updated at
(BOISE) – A California family that survived a plane crash in the Owyhee Mountains earlier this year returned to Idaho Saturday to thank their rescuers. Brian, Jayann and Heather Brown of Wilton, California honored members of Idaho Mountain Search and Rescue and the Idaho National Guard at a thank-you luncheon. The family’s plane went down in May after their plane iced over. One of them was able to use a cell phone to call for help, though the family spent the night on the mountainside. The Browns say it’s the least they can do to recognize those who saved their lives.
