(ISLAND PARK) – Four people had to be rescued during a squall on Henry’s Lake Friday night. The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office says and Idaho Falls man and three kids were on the water in an aluminum jet boat when strong winds and choppy waves pushed their boat into the cliffs on the east side of the lake. All four had to abandon the boat and climb the cliffs to safety. One rescue boat took on water and capsized while a second boat was called in to help. Crews were able to bring all four stranded boaters back to shore. Officials say it’s a dangerous time to be on Henry’s Lake.
