Game 4 of the ALCS Postponed Until Thursday
Published at(DETROIT) — Game 4 of the AL Championship Series between the New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers has been postponed due to the threat of storms in the area.
The game was delayed for 1 hour, and 10 minutes before it was rescheduled. It will now take place Thursday at 4:07 p.m. ET.
Both CC Sabathia and Max Scherzer, the scheduled starting pitchers for Game 4, didn’t warm up before the game and will start on Thursday in Detroit.
The Tigers lead the best-of-seven series 3-0. If the Yankees win Game 4, Game 5 will be held on Friday at Comerica Park. If a Game 6 and Game 7 are necessary, they will be held Saturday and Sunday at Yankee Stadium.
