(LONDON) — A giant lobster has been saved from a pot in Britain.
In the crustacean world, Patrick is a whopping ten-pound lobster and thought to be more than 50-years-old. He was hauled-up off Plymouth on the southern English coast and was destined for the Spanish market. Yet, a kind-hearted fish merchant there deemed him to be just too special for the table.
Patrick, the lobster, has been donated to the Bristol Aquarium, where he’ll now live out his retirement years in peace.
