High School Students to Receive HP Laptops

(BOISE) – Idaho Gov. Butch Otter has announced that every public high school student in the state will receive a new laptop from HP. The governor and other state officials made the announcement Tuesday at HP’s corporate offices in Boise. Otter says the laptops, which face a referendum vote through Proposition 3, are important to move Idaho’s students into the “global marketplace.” Authorities say HP remains one of Idaho’s largest employers.
