Honey Boo Boo Gets Advice from “Jersey Shore” Stars

TLC(LOS ANGELES) — The pint-size reality star, Honey Boo Boo, aka Alana Thompson, is learning to deal with her newfound fame, and who better to offer advice on how to handle it than the cast of Jersey Shore.
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino tells E! he would recommend that the 7-year-old star of TLC’s Here Comes Honey Boo Boo “have a good support system and try to be grounded.” Sorrentino says, “All of us have a good system when we come home where there’s family and friends and whatnot to ground us to make sure that we stay true to ourselves.”
Jersey Shore’s Ronnie Ortiz-Magro suggests that Honey Boo Boo enjoy the fame while she can, saying, “make the best of it.”
Pauly D advises the 7-year-old reality star to ignore the haters and don’t take things personally. “Just push it aside, stay positive,” suggests Pauly.
And while Honey Boo Boo is too young for the GTL routine, Ronnie thinks it’d be great if she spent a summer with the gang in Seaside Heights, adding, “I think she would kill it. She’d be like the new Snooki.”
