(IDAHO FALLS, ID)  —   Hundreds of libraries across the nation are celebrating “Banned Books Week.” At the Idaho Falls Public Library, managers say they’ve never banned any books, though they’ve moved some controversial titles to different locations. They’re highlighting certain books that have been challenged at other libraries in order to raise awareness and increase education. The American Library Association notes that there were over 300 challenges to controversial titles in 2011, with “The Hunger Games” and “To Kill A Mockingbird” among the most common.
