(IDAHO FALLS) – An Idaho Falls teacher is one of Gem State educators competing for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching. Local News 8 reports that science teacher Zoe Jorgensen of A.H. Bush Magnet School hopes to earn the nation’s top award for K-12 math and science teachers. Winners receive $10,000, a presidential citation, and a trip to Washington D.C. for professional development activities.
