“I disagree with him. I will shut him down,” Stewart said Thursday on ABC’s Good Morning America. “He will weep most likely like a child.”

Still, Stewart said he loves sparing with O’Reilly and looks forward to a “substantive conversation.”

“It always strikes me as bizarre — this idea that the people you disagree with you should not ever engage with,” the 49-year-old said of the upcoming debate. “It’s not anything like that. I think he comes by his views honestly.”

Stewart also weighed in on who he thought won the presidential debate on Wednesday night. Avoiding the question, Stewart playfully said, “As Americans, I think we can all be very satisfied in knowing that no matter what happens in this election, we’re going to have…an incredibly good looking president.”

“Talk about American exceptionalism! Put those two up against what, [German Chancellor Angela] Merkel? It’s a slam dunk,” he quipped.
