The 6-foot-6 guard/forward from Rochester High School in Michigan, joins twins Andrew and Aaron Harrison, the No. 2 and No.4 ranked prospects, who committed to Kentucky just a week ago.

“Kentucky has just always been my dream school,” Young said after announcing his decision. “Once I went up there to go visit I just fell in love with the place.”

The Wildcats are still in the running for landing No. 3 prospect power forward Julius Randle and No. 6 prospect and power forward Aaron Gordon.

Young chose the Wildcats over Michigan State, Kansas and Syracuse. Kentucky is looking to have the nation’s top ranked recruiting class for the fourth time in five years.
