(MINNEAPOLIS) — The Minnesota Timberwolves will be without two-time All-Star forward Kevin Love for the next six to eight weeks after he broke his right hand during a workout.
The 24-year-old Love suffered a fracture of his third and fourth metacarpal in his shooting hand before practice Wednesday morning.
Love averaged 26 points and 13.3 rebounds per game last season.
The T-Wolves open the regular season at home against the Sacramento Kings on Nov. 2.
