Lawson Agrees to Extension with Nuggets
Published at(NEW YORK) — Ty Lawson and the Denver Nuggets agreed to a contract extension worth $48 million over four years, a league source told ESPN NBA Insider Chris Broussard.
Lawson tweeted Tuesday, “It Looks like im going to be a nugget for another 4 yrs..Thanks to the Kronke family, Masai, nuggets fans and everybody 4 believing In me.”
Lawson, who was drafted with the 18th pick in the 2009 draft, has averaged 16.4 points, 6.6 assists and 3.7 rebounds per-game in his three-year NBA career.
