Luna Opponents Attack Ad Filmed at School

(BOISE) – Idaho’s teachers’ union is taking flak after filming an anti-education reform commercial at a public school in southwestern Idaho. State Sen. Jim Rice of Caldwell says the Idaho Education Association improperly used Woodrow Wilson Elementary in Caldwell as a backdrop for its commercial attacking Superintendent Tom Luna’s education initiatives. Union officials counter that it’s normal for many school districts to have an “open policy” to most groups seeking to use their facilities. School was not in session when the ad was filmed.
