Man Injured After Hitting Cow Near Swanlake

(SWANLAKE) – An Idaho Falls man was hospitalized after hitting a cow with his car south of Swanlake early Friday. Idaho State Police say 29-year-old Tyler Tew was taken by ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center and was later released. The accident was the second of its kind in less than two weeks in the Swanlake area. On Oct. 3, an Idaho State Journal delivery truck hit a cow along U.S. Hwy. 91. The delivery truck driver was uninjured.
