(RALEIGH, N.C.) — (3) Florida State (5-1) fell to North Carolina State (4-2) Saturday Night, 17-16 in Atlantic Coast Conference action.
Wolfpack senior quarterback Mike Glennon connected with sophomore wide out Bryan Underwood on a game-tying two-yard touchdown pass with 16 seconds left in the game. Freshman kicker Juston Burris converted on the extra point try, sending N.C. State to their first victory over a ranked opponent this season.
“Got to refocus, not let one game become two, go back and play a good ballgame,” Seminoles head coach Jimbo Fisher said after the game.
Florida State will attempt to get back on the winning track when they play host to Boston College on Saturday, October 13th.
