(POCATELLO) – A Pocatello pathologist has surrendered his medical license amid allegations that he botched several autopsies. The Idaho Board of Medicine says Steve M. Skoumal used unlicensed staffers, gave substandard care, and abused or exploited patients through his actions. Skoumal, who has performed several autopsies in criminal cases, denies any wrongdoing. He will, however, retain an inactive license allowing him to work as a consultant.
