Popcorn Maker Issues Recall Due to Listeria Contamination
Published at(NEW YORK) – The maker of “Popcorn, Indiana” brand snacks is issuing a voluntary recall of less than 700,000 bags of its ready to eat popcorn due to a potential listeria contamination. That number is roughly ten-percent of its entire product line, made on or after Aug. 8.
The recall affects 14 different popcorn flavors with varying expiration dates between Feb. 4, 2013 and March 12, 2013. These bags were distributed to retailers nationwide.
