(BOISE) – A controversial music festival highlighting white supremacist music was held without incident in Canyon County Saturday. Authorities say members of Hammerskin Nation held their 25th anniversary celebration on private property north of Melba. Police had initially feared that violence at similar rallies would erupt again. A member of the Hammerskins, Wade Michael Page, shot himself in August after fatally killing six people at a Sikh Temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. The group has avoided addressing whether their racism played a role in the mass shooting.
