(LOS ANGELES) — Last week, Michael Lohan reportedly tried to stage an intervention for his daughter Lindsay Lohan at her home, but the effort reportedly crashed and burned when the cops were called on the would-be interveners for trespassing.
TMZ is now reporting that Michael looked to therapist Dr. Drew Pinsky to try to help Lindsay — who her dad thinks has relapsed and needs rehab as well as a new set of positive influences. However, the Celebrity Rehab host and therapist reportedly turned Michael down, saying Lindsay needed a lower-profile specialist, and recommended another expert to help.
So far, Lindsay’s camp won’t comment officially on the situation, though a “source” close to the actress insisted to TMZ that she’s clean and sober.
