(FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.) – A Rigby woman is facing a 215-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to 41 counts of federal income tax fraud. Penny Jones admitted to being part of a nationwide scheme and requested more than $120 million in fraudulent returns, mostly from the 2008 tax year. Jones ran a tax return preparation business under the names PMDD Services LLC and Forever Grace LLC. Federal officials say Jones could have to pay more than $10 million in fines alone.
