(IDAHO FALLS) – The Snake River Animal Shelter in Idaho Falls is a lot closer to their goal of building a new facility. Local News 8 reports that Bill Maeck has donated $40,000 to the shelter. The longtime Labrador enthusiast hopes his donation will prompt others to give as well. Officials say the facility is about $1.2 million short of its fundraising goal, which is expected to be built by next summer.
