(NEW YORK) — Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew may miss a few games, but he won’t need surgery on his left foot, a team source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Jones-Drew injured his foot during the teams first offensive play in the game last Sunday against Oakland.
The source says Jones-Drew has a sprained foot.
This season, Jones-Drew leads the Jaguars in rushing with 414 yards.
He will be replaced in starting lineup by Rashad Jennings. Jennings has rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown this season.
