(IDAHO FALLS) – The owners of a straw maze that burned to the ground Tuesday night believe the fire was caused by arson. Owner Paul Walker tells Local News 8 that the fire started shortly after the maze closed. Investigators are still working to determine what started the blaze, and say the fire will likely continue to smolder for the remainder of the week. Walker says the fire caused more than $100,000 in damage, consuming over a thousand straw bales and a backhoe. The Walkers are offering a $500 reward for anyone with information leading to the culprit.
