(BOISE) – The opponents toIdaho’s “Students Come First” laws have outraised supporters nearly four-fold. The National Education Association has donated more than $1.1 million to the group “Vote No on Proposition 1, 2 & 3.” That’s opposed to the group “Yes for Education,” which has raised just $165,000. The reforms, which were passed in 2011, limit the power of unions to collectively bargain, implement pay for performance standards for teachers, and require high school students to take online classes.
