(HOUSTON) — Terrell Suggs returned for the Ravens but the Texans torched Suggs and the Baltimore defense on in Sunday’s 43-13 rout.
Texans quarterback Matt Schaub threw two touchdown passes and Arian Foster ran for two in the victory.
“There’s no panic, our defense was playing well earlier in the game, don’t start pressing and keep executing the plan,” said Schaub, who completed 23 of 37 passes for 256 yards.
The Texans also set a franchise record for points in a game and finished with 420 yards.
“They got after us and they beat us, give them credit,” Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said. “They played excellent, we did not. That’s what happens on the road against a good team.”
Suggs sacked Schaub in the first quarter and finished with three solo tackles in his return to the field since undergoing surgery on his right Achilles tendon last May.
“It’s not the end of the world,” Suggs said of the blowout loss, “but it’s not something we’re going to take lightly, either.”
