This year is extra special as the T Zone has now grown into The Lower East Side Girls Club, a brick and mortar hub for young ladies.

This is the 38-year-old model’s first ball. She dubbed it flawsome — flaws plus awesome — because, “it’s about things that are different: eyes that are too far apart, forehead that’s too big, a little gap in your teeth, freckles all over your face, little dimple in your booty.”

Banks told ABC News Radio on Thursday night’s yellow carpet that, “those type of things that are not the typical norm are flawsome; are beautiful.”

The new girls-only club, a green state-of-the-art facility, will feature a bakery, a science lab, a planetarium, and a technology center that offers audio visual equipment along with film making and editing classes for youth.

It’s a project that actress Rosario Dawson is extremely proud of as a board member of the facility. “There’s a gap here that the girls are falling through,” the actress said of the women who will benefit from the girls club.

Dawson said she’s proud of the work Banks is doing because “The philosophy is about embracing who you are and bringing that to the table in the most magnificent, powerful, strident possible way that you possibly can. [It’s] so perfect.”

The Flawsome Ball, an evening to raise funds to complete the center that takes up an entire city block, was supported by a number of celebrities, including Clay Aiken, Gayle King, Kelly Cutrone, Estelle and Victoria Secret model Chanel Iman.

Drake served as the musical guest, performing a number of his hits, including “Motto,” “Make Me Proud” and “Take Care.”
