(PAYSON, Utah) – A Utah football coach accused of knocking down a 13-year-old player from an opposing team and giving him a concussion will not face felony charges. 38-year-old Nathan Harris of Mapleton allegedly stepped out onto the field while the victim was rushing down the sideline and knocked him over. Harris maintains his innocence that the contact was only incidental, while others examining video evidence suggest otherwise. Harris was arrested after the game. The Payson city attorney’s office is considering possible misdemeanor charges.
