Former champ Shawn Johnson will be doing the jive, though she’s not really looking forward to it. She tells ABC News Radio the dance is “extremely fast and tiring….I don’t like the jive.”

Kirstie Alley will also be tackling the jive, which she concedes was one of her worst dances the last time she competed on the show. She says, “I am learning to love it because I have to.”

Another story line to watch for on Monday night: Drew Lachey attempting to bounce back after falling into the bottom two last week. His partner, Anna Trebunskaya, says, “We’re going to bring the special Drew. He has maybe the biggest heart out of everybody.”

It’s also the second week of Dancing with the Stars‘ new points system, under which the judges can award both whole points and half points to competitors. Pro dancers Mark Ballas, Tony Dovolani and Louis Van Amstel all support the new system because it helps to better define which celebrities are the best.

Ballas says, “It’ll be interesting and it’ll definitely shake up the scoreboards more and not everything will be so tight, I guess.”

Monday’s performance show will air on ABC at 8 p.m. Eastern time.
