(BOSTON) — (4) Notre Dame (10-0) defeated Boston College (2-8), 21-6 Saturday night behind freshman quarterback Everett Golson’s three touchdowns.
The 19-year-old Golson put the Fighting Irish on the board first, midway through the opening quarter with a two-yard touchdown run. He would later toss for two more T-D’s as Notre Dame improves to 10-0 for the first time since 1993.
Notre Dame senior Manti Te’o hauled in his sixth interception of the season, picking off Boston College junior quarterback Chase Rettig late in the fourth quarter. Te’o now holds the university record for most interceptions by a linebacker in a single season.
