ABC Cancels “Last Resort,” “666 Park Avenue”; CBS Yanks “Partners”
Published at(NEW YORK) — It was a black Friday last week for three new TV series.
ABC cancelled the Andre Braugher drama Last Resort, which airs on Thursday night and follows a nuclear submarine captain and his crew.
In addition, it pulled the plug on the Sunday-night supernatural drama 666 Park Avenue, which stars Terry O’Quinn and Vanessa Williams.
Both shows will remain on TV until their episode order runs out.
CBS is also making a change to its primetime lineup. It cancelled its freshman comedy Partners, which revolved around two best friends/business partners — one straight, one gay.
Partners’ Monday-night time slot will be filled by comedy reruns for the time being.
