Brad Pitt Launches Furniture Line
Published at | Updated at(NEW YORK) — He’s an actor, a spokesperson, an activist, a father — and now a furniture designer.
Brad Pitt, with the help of designer Frank Pollaro, has launched his own line of furniture, reports Architectural Digest.
“I’ve been doodling ideas for buildings and furniture since the early 1990s,” Pitt said. “Actually, I found [architect Frank Lloyd] Wright in college, when looking for a lazy two-point credit to get out of French. It forever changed my life.”
While his designs are limited to a variety of tables, including side tables, cocktail tables and dining room tables, along with chairs and a bathtub, the 48-year-old actor added a touch of glamour to his designs, which feature a 24K gold table base.
Pitt is set to showcase his designs in New York Nov. 13-15.
