The Steelers (6-5) started third string quarterback Charlie Batch because of injuries to Ben Roethlisberger and Byron Leftwich.  Batch threw three interceptions and the team lost five fumbles in the loss.

The most devastating fumble was that of Steelers running back Chris Rainey, who coughed it up with 2:25 left to ice the game for the Browns (3-8).   They also fumbled on the last play of the game.

Richardson rushed for 85 yards and the go-ahead touchdown for Cleveland, who defeated the Steelers for just the second time in the past 18 games.

The Steelers are fighting for their playoff lives, and it will not get any easier with a game against the Baltimore Ravens coming up next week.
