Burley Man Convicted for Shooting Death

BURLEY – A Burley man faces up to 25 years in prison for his role in the shooting death of a passenger in his pickup truck.
Michael Jared Thompson, 25, will be sentenced Jan. 28 after being found guilty of involuntary manslaughter.
Thompson allegedly shot and killed Michael Kenneth Blair, 21, in December. Thompson’s attorney contends that Blair committed suicide instead.
