The Eagles have lost six straight games coming into the NFC showdown and backup quarterback Nick Foles will get his second start of the season as Michael Vick continues to recover from a concussion.

“I’m just looking forward to going out and playing in front of our Eagles fans,” said Foles.  “I don’t know what to expect, I just want to go out there and play with everything I have.”

The Eagles are 2-3 at home this season; the Panthers are 1-3 on the road.  Eagles head coach Andy Reid believes his team will come out fighting, despite being plagued by injuries.

“I expect the other guys to step up and play,” said Reid.  “It’s a great opportunity for them, that’s the way you approach it.  You cut it loose and you play.”

Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is looking forward to the opportunity of playing on Monday night.

“Primetime game, everybody’s going to be watching,” said Newton.  “It’s kind of the iconic that everyone would like to be on.”
