(AUBURN HILLS, Mich.) — Shooting guard James Harden scored 37 points and had 12 assists in his Rockets debut as Houston scorched the Detroit Pistons Wednesday night, 105-96.
The 2012 Sixth Man of the Year started off the game strong scoring 19 points in the first half, but Detroit scored 36 points in the second quarter to take a 58-55 lead into halftime.
Down by 11 points to open up the fourth quarter, the Rockets came roaring back behind four three’s from guard Carlos Delfino.
Guard Jeremy Lin, making his debut for the Rockets finished with 12 points and eight assists.
