(HOUSTON) — LeBron James scored a season-high 38 points in the Miami Heat’s 113-110 win over the Houston Rockets (3-4) on Monday.
Rockets guard Jeremy Lin missed a three-pointer with 10 seconds left, giving the Heat a close win on the road.
“Obviously, it’s my responsibility to hit that shot,” Lin said. “It was a good shot for me, a quality shot, and it didn’t go in for me, unfortunately, in a crucial play of the game.”
James gave the Heat (6-2) the lead for good on a layup with 19 seconds left to give them a bounce-back win after a 104-86 loss to Memphis on Sunday.
Dwyane Wade added 19 in the victory for Miami.
