Idaho Falls Man Sentenced in Medicaid Fraud Case
Published at | Updated atIDAHO FALLS – An Idaho Falls man has been ordered to pay nearly $85,000 in restitution for committing Medicaid fraud.
John K. Baird, 59, was given a five-year suspended prison sentence and five years of probation.
In 2008 Baird owned The Living Farm, a business that provided mental health and psychosocial rehabilitation services.
An investigation later revealed Baird used unqualified staff to provide services in the area, including the Aberdeen School District. Last month, Baird admitted to submitting false Medicaid claims for rehabilitation services.
