(LOS ANGELES) — Jermaine Jackson apparently doesn’t want to be a Jackson anymore. At least, not in name.
TMZ.com reports he has filed a petition with a Los Angeles court to change his last name from “Jackson” to “Jacksun,” substituting the letter “o” for the letter “u.” He didn’t disclose the purpose of the name change, other than to say it is for “artistic reasons.”
The name change has to be approved by a judge before Jermaine can become a “Jacksun.”
