(WASHINGTON) — Jobless claims wrapped up the month of October falling by 9,000 last week, according to the latest figures from the Labor Department.
The agency reported on Thursday that for the week ending Oct. 27, the number of people filing for benefits decreased to 363,000. The previous week, claims stood at 372,000.
The four-week average also went down, dropping by 1,500 to 367,250.
On Friday, Americans will get to see how the jobs market fared last month when the Labor Department releases its monthly employment report.
