Keira Knightley Talks Weight and Body Image

Gareth Cattermole/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Keira Knightley is nearly topless on the December cover of Allure magazine, and among the topics she discusses in the accompanying interview is her weight.
It wasn’t long ago that Knightley sued a British tabloid that printed that she was anorexic, and she has been criticized by others for being too skinny.
Knightley explains, “The anorexic stuff — it’s always going to have an impact, so I think it did hit pretty hard. Because you go, oh, maybe that’s right! I knew I wasn’t anorexic, but maybe my body is somehow not right.”
The 27-year-old Anna Karenina star noted that Hollywood also makes changes to her body when she does films or appears in promotional materials, which again makes her feel like her body is somehow not right.
Knightley says, “They always pencil in my boobs. I was only angry when they were really droopy.”
She added, “For King Arthur, for a poster, they gave me these really strange droopy tits. I thought, well if you’re going to make me fantasy breasts, at least make perky breasts.”
