(MIAMI) — Miami Heat forward LeBron James has the No.1 selling jersey for the third time in his nine NBA seasons. James had been No. 4 in the last rankings that came out in April.
“It’s an honor to be No. 1,” said James. “I give all of the credit to the fans. I would also like to thank all of my supporters and the Miami Heat organization. Let’s keep it going.”
Following James, was his finals opponent, Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant, and Los Angeles Lakers All-Star Kobe Bryant.
James won his third MVP trophy, second Olympic gold medal, and captured his first NBA championship between June and July this year.
The New York Knicks led team sales after their hot start to the 2012 season.
The league reported record-breaking sales over Thanksgiving weekend, saying sales were up more than 10 percent on Cyber Monday, compared to 2011.
