Manziel Leads A&M Past Mississippi State

Getty S 110312 Johnny%20Manziel?  SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1351988504323Stacy Revere/Getty Images(STARKVILLE, Miss.) — Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel threw for 311 yards and rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns, as the 16th ranked Aggies topped No. 15 Mississippi State 38-13 Saturday.

Manziel completed 30 of his 36 passes and rushed for over 100 yards for the fifth time this season.

The game was never close. Texas A&M (7-2) led 24-0 at half and held Mississippi State to 310 total yards, including only allowing Bulldogs quarterback Tyler Russell to throw for 29 yards in the first half.

Ryan Swope and Mike Evans each had nine catches for the Aggies who are now 5-0 on the road this season.

Mississippi State (7-2) has now lost two straight.
