Motorhome Crash Sends Two to the Hospital
Published atMALAD – A one-vehicle crash sent two to the hospital earlier today.
The Idaho State Police are investigated a crash on Interstate 15 near Malad at approximately 11:05 a.m. today.
According to reports, a motorhome driven by Eugene Gillette, 79, of Bishop, Calif., attempted to exit the intersate when he failed to stop at a stop sign at the offramp. His motorhome continued through the intersection and went off an embankment on the south side of Highway 36 and crashed into a creek bed, police said.
He and his is passenger, Joye Gillette, 75, was taken by ambulance to Oneida County Hospital. Joyce Gillette was later flown by air to McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah.
