Pocatello Working on LGBT Legislation

  Published at  | Updated at

(POCATELLO) – The city of Pocatello is still working on legislation that could guarantee certain protections for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender residents.

Authorities hope to have a measure drafted by March or April.

The Idaho State Journal reports Pocatello isn’t the only regional city considering an LGBT ordinance. Caldwell has already passed a law protecting gays and lesbians applying for city jobs.

Boise is also drafting a similar law.
