Julie Franck, who was arrested Friday, was ordered held on $300,000 bail by a Cook County judge after prosecutors said she and an accomplice robbed Franck’s mother on Oct. 9.

When Franck’s mother left her apartment that day, Franck — wearing a ski mask — and an accomplice were allegedly waiting in the hallway, where the accomplice used a stun gun on her, prosecutors said.

After a skirmish that lasted minutes, the robbers managed to snatch the cash, the cards, and the diamond ring, which is valued at $40,000, according to prosecutors.

However, a neighbor managed to pull the ski mask off of Franck’s head to reveal her identity, prosecutors said.

According to an inmate report from the Cook County Sheriff’s Office, Franck is 36 years old, stands 5’10″, and weighs 140 pounds. She was charged with armed robbery.

Franck was arrested Friday and appeared in court on Sunday. She is due back in court Wednesday. Franck’s mother was treated for her injuries at a local hospital and then released.

Police declined to provide any information about the alleged accomplice or why it took more than a month for Franck to be arrested.

Calls from ABC News to members of Franck’s family, including her mother, were not returned on Monday.
