After already missing last week’s game with a sprained ankle, FOX’ Jay Glazer reports that he will miss an additional 2-4 weeks.

McFadden suffered the injury November 4 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Even though McFadden officially didn’t miss practice on Wednesday and his status for this Sunday’s game has not been announced, he is expected to miss at least a couple more games.

Regarded as one of the best running backs in football, McFadden has always had trouble staying on the field. Since entering the NFL in 2008, McFadden has missed at least three games every season due to various injuries. In 2011, he played just seven games, but still rushed for 614 yards and scored four touchdowns.

The 25-year-old was off to a rough 2012 season prior to the injury. In eight games, he ran for 455 yards with just two touchdowns while averaging just 3.3 yards per carry.

Replacing McFadden will be Marcel Reece along with Taiwan Jones.
