Rivers became only the sixth quarterback in NFL history to complete 90% of his passes with at least 20 attempts.

“We got in a rhythm,” Rivers said when asked about completing 90% of his passes. “The guys up front were great. We got a big third-down catch from Ajirotutu to start us off, and then we just kind of got in sync and were just going.”

It wasn’t only the Chargers offense that played well. The defense forced the Chiefs into four turnovers and scored two touchdowns.

The Chargers (4-4) are now only a half-game out of first place in the AFC West.
